1. Developing an Automated Drivability Index for Swedish Roadways
Master-uppsats, KTH/TransportplaneringSammanfattning : The masters thesis aims to determine a method to understand which road segments could pose safety risks or where Level 4 autonomous vehicles would operate poorly in the Swedish road context. This vehicle’s ability to operate adequately can be defined as ‘drivable’. LÄS MER
2. Optimal Multitaper Spectrograms
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistikSammanfattning : Multitaper spectrograms have been proposed as a method of improving the spectrogram as a time-frequency representation (TFR). This thesis aimed to investigate both previously used and new methods for combining multitaper spectrograms of a Gaussian signal and a chirp. LÄS MER
3. Age of Peak Performance among Swedish Football Players
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Statistik och maskininlärningSammanfattning : Within sports, the relationship between performance and age is deeply intertwined and is of interest to various roles within the sport. Despite its status as one of the largest sports in the world, there is a limited amount of previous work in the context of football and the leagues investigated has emphasized the highest ranked leagues. 4. Lagrangian Bounding and Heuristics for Bi-Objective Discrete Optimisation
Kandidat-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Tillämpad matematik; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska fakultetenSammanfattning : For larger instances of multi-objective optimisation problems, the exact Pareto frontier can be both difficult and time-consuming to calculate. There is a wide range of methods to find feasible solutions to such problems, but techniques for finding good optimistic bounds to compare the feasible solutions with are missing. LÄS MER
5. The value of cardiac MRI texture analysis in patients with clinically suspected myocarditis
Master-uppsats,Sammanfattning : Purpose: The aim of this proof-of-concept study was to assess the diagnostic value of texture analysis (TA) based on conventional balanced steady-state-free precession (bSSFP), late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) and T2-weighted cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI) in patients with clinically suspected myocarditis. Method: A retrospective cohort study was performed based on 30 patients who underwent a comprehensive CMRI due to clinically suspected myocarditis between 2013 and 2018 at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital: 10 patients with clinical signs and positive myocardial biomarkers (Troponin T, indicating myocardial injury) as well as positive CMRI findings according to Lake Louise Criteria (LLC; group 1), 10 patients with clinical signs and positive myocardial biomarkers but negative CMRI findings according to LLC (group 2), and 10 patients with clinical signs but both negative myocardial biomarkers as well as CMRI findings according to LLC (control group).
