  1. 1. Ventilation for reduced indoor spread of Covid 19 and similar diseases : A literature review focusing on hospital environments

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Energisystem och byggnadsteknik

    Författare :Cyrus Ourak Pour; [2023]
    Nyckelord :COVID-19; SARS-CoV-2; Ventilation system; Mixing ventilation MV ; Displacement ventilation DV ; Under floor air distribution UFAD ; Ultraviolet light UV ; HEPA filter; COVID-19; SARS-CoV-2; Ventilationssystem; Blandningsventilation; Deplacementventilation; Luftfördelning under golv; Ultraviolett ljus; HEPA-filter;

    Sammanfattning : Today, a significant portion of individuals’ time is spent indoors, estimated at approximately 90% of their total time. This raises concerns about the transmission of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) instigating Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and similar viruses and highlights the critical role of ventilation systems in indoor environments, which this study aims to investigate. 2. 2. Detecting flight patterns using deep learning

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Avdelningen för systemteknik

    Författare :Victor Carlsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :machine learning; AI; pattern detection; CNN; LSTM; transfer learning; ADS-B; flight pattern; trajectory classification;

    Sammanfattning : With more aircraft in the air than ever before, there is a need for automating the surveillance of the airspace. It is widely known that aircraft with different intentions fly in different flight patterns. Support systems for finding different flight patterns are therefore needed. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Assessment of aggregate structure in porous asphalt using X-ray computed tomography

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Väg- och banteknik

    Författare :Mari Haagenrud Matsson; Malex Love Valdemar Åkerblom; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Tomography; non-destructive testing; destructive testing; air voids content; aggregate size distribution; porous asphalt;

    Sammanfattning : X-ray computed tomography is a technique that has been successfully utilized to characterize internal microstructure of asphalt mixtures. The city of Linköping (Sweden) developed an action plan to reduce noise; accordingly KTH and VTI developed a method to determine air void content in porous asphalt using x-ray computed tomography and an image processing software called ImageJ. 4. 4. Thermal Investigation of the Green Revolution Energy Converter : A study on the heat transfer within the GREC in regards of temperature distribution and heat rate

    L3-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Mekanisk värmeteori och strömningslära

    Författare :Wilma Fager; Maja Abrahamsson Bolstad; Emma Gustafsson; Emma Andersson; Matilda Eriksson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :GREC; Energy; Heat transfer; Heat rate; Temperature distribution;

    Sammanfattning : To reduce emissions, new technological solutions can be of use. One technology which is currently being developed is the Green Revolution Energy Converter, GREC. GREC is an engine with the aim to produce electricity from temperature gradients.  This project is part of a greater project that is divided in two with different focus areas. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Design, Modeling, and Testing of a Force Feedback Haptic Device for Simulated Robot Interaction

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för systemteknik

    Författare :Patrik Lindström; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Force Feedback; Impedance Control; PD-gain; Dynamic Behavior; Closed-chain; Master-Slave; Parallel Manipulator; Kinematics Redundancy; Mass-Spring-Damper; Position Control; Current Control; Modeling; Design; Joints; Delta robot; Differential Equations; External Torques; Kinematics; Forward Kinematics; Inverse Kinematics; Dynamic Matrices; Jacobian; URDF; Haptics; Haptic Device; Solidworks; CAD; Maxon Motors; EtherCAT; Beckhoff;

    Sammanfattning : Haptic feedback is a growing phenomenon that incorporates the sense of touch through tactile sensations such as vibrations, electrical signals, air pressure, and sound waves or through force feedback, which employs torques and/or forces to replicate the pressure and weight of a simulated object. Utilizing haptic technology establishes a communication bridge between the user and the technical component, enhancing the user's understanding of the technical component's surroundings. LÄS MER
