1. Superconducting gates for InP HEMTs
Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad fysikSammanfattning : The thesis examines the prospects of using the superconductor NbN as the gatemetal for an InP HEMT. A HEMT or High Electron Mobility Transistor is aheterostructure transistor engineered to reach very high electron mobility. InPHEMTs are used as cryogenic Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), which have increasedin demand as quantum computing is scaling up. LÄS MER
2. Digital Front End Algorithms for Sub-Band Full Duplex
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknikSammanfattning : Sub-band full duplex is a new communication scheme technology, where a single frequency band is partitioned into sub-bands for downlink (DL) and up-link(UL) transmissions, and both can take place simultaneously. The idea behind the sub-band full duplex development is to improve the throughput, and coverage and reduce the latency of the UL communication by allowing the UL reception during the DL transmission. 3. Investigation of Analog Calibration Systems for Spurious Tone Suppression in Frequency Triplers
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknikSammanfattning : The market for Wi-Fi receiver designs for latest Wi-Fi standards, that cover RF bands in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz spectrum, require increasingly stringent power consumption limitations as more of the market is driven towards battery-powered devices. 4. FEM analysis of existing buildings during renovation
Master-uppsats, KTH/HållfasthetsläraSammanfattning : In this masters thesis the aim was to investigate a part of Sturegallerian in Stockholm to be reconstructed. The reconstruction did implicate that openings were to be established in an already existing masonry wall. LÄS MER
5. Simulation, Design, and Implementation of a Narrow Linewidth Ytterbium Fiber MOPA System at 1087 nm
Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad fysikSammanfattning : This thesis focuses on simulating, designing, and characterizing a narrow-linewidth continuous-wave (CW) Ytterbium (Yb) master oscillator fiber amplifier (MOFA) system. The primary goal was to achieve a watt-level output at 1087 nm with a narrow 1 GHz linewidth, making the MOFA well-suited for serving as a pump source in Terahertz (THz) generation experiments.
