    Sammanfattning : The helicity amplitudes of the scattering reaction Sigma* bar Lambda -> pi+ pi- at energies below 1 GeV are calculated. They are part of a project of determining the low energy Sigma* to Lambda transition form factors using dispersion theory.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis, a method for producing few-cycle short wavelength infrared pulses is presented. The pulses are created by down converting the 800 nm output of a Ti:Sapphire laser in an optical parametric amplifier to 1300 nm, and spectrally broadened in a hollow core fiber in order to obtain a short transform limited pulse duration.
