1. Autophagy and senescence in primary human bronchial epithelial cells in the context of COPD
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Examensarbeten i molekylärbiologiSammanfattning : Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the third largest cause of death worldwide, with its most prominent risk factor being inhalation of smoke and pollutants. In this project, we studied two processes that are involved in COPD: autophagy and cellular senescence. LÄS MER
2. Investigation of Chromatin Organization and mRNA Expression in Drug Treated Human Erythroleukemia Cells
4. Mapping the relationship between integrin activation, focal adhesion organization and mechanotransduction in fibroblasts
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknikSammanfattning : Cells can sense and respond to mechanical forces through a process called mechanotransduction. It is controlled by the mechanical cues, originated from the cell's microenvironment, and occurs via a complex, step-wise process. LÄS MER
5. Dietary fibres and dairy products : How does it affect the development of cancer and diabetes type 2
Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Department of Molecular SciencesSammanfattning : Eating habits are one of the main factors that can affect the development of non-communicable diseases such as cancer and diabetes. The prevention of cancer and diabetes is a significant public health challenge due to the growing rate all over the world. Dietary behaviours are one of the important factors to lower the risk of these diseases. LÄS MER
