    Sammanfattning : In this essay I consider from various perspectives the question of whether, for Aristotle, intuition (nous) is part of the process of induction (epagoge) helping to reach the first principles (archai) or whether nous is rather a state of knowing first brought about through a successful induction alone. I have argued we should be careful of drawing conclusions about the nature of the involvement of nous in the grasping of first principles on the basis of APo alone. LÄS MER
