   Sammanfattning : The purpose of this article is to draw attention to differences and similarities between the subject visual arts in Sweden and Finland through analysis of syllabi in both countries in certain selected subject areas. Is there a theme that takes up more or less space in one of the countries' curricula? Can Sweden learn anything from Finland and Finland from Sweden?
