    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to investigate the relevance of the term sport in the course term sports and health. Question that this study aims to answer is: What content has been relevant to the subject and what was the purpose of it? What is nowdays relevant to the subject “idrott (Physical education)”? To what grade is the word idrott relevant to the subject? To answer the purpose and questions of this study a discourse analysis is used, more precisely Fairclough’s three dimensional analysis model.
