  1. 1. Fibroblasttillväxtfaktor-23 (FGF-23) – en möjlig biomarkör för osteoartrit hos katt?

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Clinical Sciences

    Författare :Pernilla Hägg; [2023]
    Nyckelord :artros; biomarkör; FGF-23; katt; osteoartrit;

    Sammanfattning : Osteoartrit är en kronisk obotlig ledsjukdom som är vanlig hos katt. Trots att osteoartrit är associerad med smärta kan sjukdomen hos katt vara svår att diagnosticera. LÄS MER

  2. 2. 3D-Reconstruction of the Common Murre

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Datorseende

    Författare :Johannes Hägerlind; [2023]
    Nyckelord :pose estimation; shape estimation; 3D reconstruction; articulated mesh; bird; common murre;

    Sammanfattning : Automatic 3D reconstruction of birds can aid researchers in studying their behavior. Recently there has been an attempt to reconstruct a variety of birds from single-view images. However, the common murre's appearance is different from the birds that have been studied. Moreover, recent studies have focused on side views. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Evaluation of whole-body bone scans performed using a gamma camera with Cadmium Zinc Telluride detector

    Master-uppsats,

    Författare :Victor Asp; [2022-01-13]
    Nyckelord :Medical physics; whole-body bone scans; gamma camera; Cadmium Zinc Telluride detector;

    Sammanfattning : The bone scan is a common nuclear medicine imaging procedure that is mainly used for evaluating several oncological patient groups. A radioactive tracer, 99mTc -labelled diphosphonate, is injected intravenously and accumulates in the skeleton. The distribution of the tracer in the body is measured with a gamma camera 3 hours post-injection. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Dielectric Characterization of Bone Using Ultra Wide Band Microwave Transmission Probe

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Abhinav Singh; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The body has the capability of reabsorbing and generating new bone throughout life. Bone remains healthy as long it maintains the equal amount of old and new bones. Bone loss is occurred when the old bone absorbed is more and new bone created is less. Osteoporosis is a very common bone disease among men and women in their later years. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Imaging of the MTP joint: Developing an imaging protocol optimised for damage detection and 3D modelling

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Fysik

    Författare :Johanna Jacobsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :computed tomography; magnetic resonance imaging; cone beam computedtomography; cartilage; osteochondral lesions; metatarsal phalangeal joint; datortomografi; magnetisk resonanstomografi; kon-datortomografi; brosk; kondrala skador; metatarsalphalangen-leden;

    Sammanfattning : Walking without pain in the toe has a significant impact on a person’s well-being. Human mobility will be impaired in osteoarthritis of the big toe, and pain will occur during walking. By replacing the cartilage or bone injury with an individualised implant, osteochondral injuries to the knee and ankle can be treated. LÄS MER
