    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to examine Russia's foreign and security policy towards Sweden, as bordering practices, in the state-controlled media's international news reporting on gender equality. To achieve this goal the following two questions were formulated: 1) which narratives about gender equality can be read from English-language news articles about Sweden from the Russian state-controlled news company Sputnik News? and 2) in what ways do these narratives function as bordering practices? Utilizing critical border theory and both narrative analysis and strategic narrative analysis this study's results confirm previous research in several ways. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The polyphonic sources of medieval Sweden are very few, although well-documented in musicological research. However, while most of the earlier research has tended to focus on interpreting the sources themselves rather than to examine the cultural and historical context in which they were written, the present dissertation aims at providing a broader narrative of the transmission and practice of polyphony.     Sammanfattning : Internal control of foreigners is a measure of migration control employed by the Swedish state, with two main goals: to monitor that no foreigners reside in the country without legal permits, and to find and detain foreigners who are to be deported. Charged by the government to increase efficiency in expulsions, the Migration Board, The National Police Board and the Prison and Probation Service initiated the cooperation project REVA in 2009-2014, which this thesis takes as its point of departure.
