    Sammanfattning : The objective of this study was to through means of discourse analyse examine how borderline personality disorder (BPD) and those diagnosed with it were constructed on nine websites offering information about the diagnosis. Findings suggested that the concept of BPD was difficult to grasp, both for those who receive the diagnosis and for those around them. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This is a feminist study of the diagnosis 'borderline personality disorder' as a feminized shadow of an almost unquestionable idea in the contemporary Western democracies: The free individual. Based on qualitative interviews with patients with borderline personality disorder and psy-workers, this study provides an understanding of borderline personality disorder as both a technology of government, and a technology of the self, which is produced in the power relations between patient and employee, and between discourse and body.     Sammanfattning : This masters thesis in Sociology of Law is a comparative study which explores Europeanization, or more specifically how an EU directive is interpreted by the relevant bureaucratic institutions of a selection of EU countries. Through a discourse analysis based on gender theory, it is shown that from currently developing EU legislation on work permits emerges a policy of differentiation between migrant workers based on to what type of work these permits pertain.
