   Sammanfattning : During recent decades Swedish housing policy has undergone a system switch causing the decline of the traditional welfare state and the emergence of neoliberal policy, favouring gentrification in urban development. Caught in-between regulation and marketised conditions of the housing sector are the socioeconomically disadvantaged tenants, whose terms weakened in relation to homeowners, making them vulnerable in an increasingly socioeconomically unequal urban environment.
