7. Redesign of a pin-on-disc tribometer focusing on blast furnace off-gas dust
8. Subcellular localization of a Netrual Invertase from hybrid aspens (Populus tremula x tremuloides)
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Forest Genetics and Plant PhysiologySammanfattning : Neutral Invertases are sucrose hydrolyzing enzymes whose role in plants remains to be understood. This thesis focuses on the subcellular localization of a neutral invertase from hybrid aspen (Populus tremula × Populus tremuloides), which shows increased transcript levels during secondary cell wall formation. 9. Effects of ethylene on secondary xylem formation in Arabidopsis thaliana
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Forest Genetics and Plant PhysiologySammanfattning : Ethylene has myriad roles as a plant hormone, ranging from senescence and defending against pathogen attacks to fruit ripening and interactions with other hormones. It has been shown to increase cambial activity in poplar, but the effect on wood formation in Arabidopsis hypocotyl has not previously been studied. LÄS MER
10. Rye cell wall β-glucosidase: subcloning, expression and purification of recombinant protein from E.coli
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Institutionen för livsvetenskaperSammanfattning : Several plant defense systems consist of enzymes that act on glucosides and produce a toxic compound. In the intact plant tissue the substrate and enzyme are kept apart. The system studied here consists of the substrate 2-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-4-dihydroxy-1,4-benzoxazin-3-one and the enzyme glucan 1,3-β-glucosidase in rye. LÄS MER
