1. Effects of Energy Performance Improving Measures on a 1990's Brick House in Southern Czech Republic : Computer Simulations using IDA-ICE
Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Energisystem och byggnadsteknikSammanfattning : The residential sector was responsible for 25% of the Final Energy Demand (FED) in the European Union in 2015. Countries in Central and Eastern Europe such as the Czech Republic are particularly concerned with ensuring security of supply at the lowest possible cost in recent years. LÄS MER
2. Using a GIS to enable an economic, land use and energy output comparison between small wind powered turbines and large-scale wind farms: the case of Oslo, Norway.
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Responding to an identified knowledge gap, the study aims to determine if smaller wind turbines located on top of existing urban buildings are more resource efficient (land utilization and economically) than large scale wind farms. To answer this question, using a GIS, the resource efficiency of the Roan wind farm in Northern Norway was compared to a theoretical modeled installation of small-scale wind turbines on top of buildings within a 2km radius study zone in central Oslo. 3.
4. Assessing impacts of climate change on the energy and hygrothermal performance of detached houses in Sweden
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för bygg- och miljöteknologi; Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Energi och byggnadsdesignSammanfattning : Climate change is one of the most significant challenges that building sector is confronting. For example, Climate change and associated extreme events are posing a significant challenge for the building sector. Buildings should be prepared to withstand the climate changes and extreme weather that will happen in the future. LÄS MER
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematikSammanfattning : District heating is a spread technology where buildings and industries are supplied with heatand hot tap water. This technology is used in 285 out of Sweden’s 290 municipalities. GöteborgEnergi has a theoretical possibility to lower their return temperature from 38 ◦C to 30 ◦C. LÄS MER
