    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, we focus on these three classes of objects: frieze patterns, polygon triangulations, and planar binary rooted trees. After proving that these objects are in pairwise bijective correspondence with each other, we introduce Catalan numbers through Dyck paths and prove that all these objects are Catalan objects. In the robot industry, the planetary gear train (PGT) is commonly used to promote the torque transmission.     Sammanfattning : Introduction: What would a Swedish upper secondary student say if suddenly, meditation was introduced as an optional addition to his or her schedule. Would they be optimistic and see it as an opportunity for relaxation in their hectic day? Or would they be of the opinion that meditation is a religious practice and should not be allowed in a secular school? Perhaps they would think neither, instead holding a more neutral opinion?
