  1. 1. PAMPaR: Parallel Analysis of miRNAs, Proteins and RNAs. Dynamic Profiles of miRNAs, mRNAs and Specific Proteins in Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells Differentiating into Neural Precursors

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Proteinvetenskap

    Författare :Amelie Carlström; [2023]
    Nyckelord :PAMPaR; SPARC; Proximity extension assay; Neuronal differentiation; Mouse embryonic stem cells; PAMPaR; SPARC; Proximity extension assay; Neuronal differentiering; embryonala musstamceller;

    Sammanfattning : MikroRNA-molekyler (miRNA) är viktiga icke-kodande RNA-molekyler för post-transkriptionell reglering av proteinkodande gener. De har även effekter på många cellulära processer såsom differentiering. De biosyntetiska reaktioner som skapar miRNA involverar proteiner som själva regleras av miRNA. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Dual RNA-seq analysis of gene co-expression and immune response mechanisms in chickens infected by Eimeria tenella

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildning

    Författare :Alma Hansen; [2023]
    Nyckelord :RNA-seq; Eimeria; bioinformatics; gene co-expression;

    Sammanfattning : Coccidiosis caused by Eimeria parasites is a worldwide problem, affecting chickens and leading to great losses in the poultry industry. Current vaccines are costly and non-optimal, and the parasite has developed resistance to the anticoccidials in use. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Modelling of gene regulatory and spatial mechanisms which pattern the early human neural tube

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Beräkningsbiologi och biologisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Fredrik Bertilsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Biophysics; systems biology; gene regulatory networks; neural tube; isthmic organizer; midbrain-hindbrain boundary; WNT; FGF; morphogens; reaction-diffusion; finite-difference; 3D modelling; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Tissue patterning during development is thought to be driven largely by gene regulatory responses to spatial gradients of molecular signals, known as morphogens. In this thesis, early patterning of the human neural tube is studied using two different gene regulatory network models. LÄS MER

  4. 4. The role of P25 interacting transcriptional regulator VIP1 in activation of transcription.

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildning

    Författare :Asma Kanon Hashi; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Rhizomania; BNYVV; expression clones; virulence factor P25; transcription; transient gene expression; VIP1 plant protein;

    Sammanfattning : Rhizomania, caused by beet necrotic yellow vein virus (BNYVV), has been considered as an economically important disease around the world because of the extreme reduction in sugar beet yield and sugar content in affected plants. The spread of rhizomania all over the world, including the emergence of resistance- breaking virus isolates, have been become a major concern for the plant pathologists and plant breeders aiming at improving sugar beet resistance to   BNYVV as well as better understanding sugar beet-virus interactions during disease development. 5. 5. Investigation of the gene expression landscape of human skin wounds

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildning

    Författare :Yuen Ting Cheung; [2021]
    Nyckelord :bioinformatics; wound healing; lncRNA; long non-coding RNA;

    Sammanfattning : Wound healing is a complex physiological process. Effective wound healing enables the skin barrier function to be restored once the skin is injured. However, due to the complex nature of wounds, the mechanisms underlying tissue repair are still poorly understood. LÄS MER
