1. Crossmodal Perception of Emotion in Audiovisual Scenes of Knocking Sounds
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Sound is an important aspect of storytelling. Previous studies have investigated the emotional perceptions of knocking sounds, in relation to the colour and material of the door. LÄS MER
2. Objective determination of marbling levels in raw bovine meat : using hyperspectral imaging
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Agricultural Research for Northern SwedenSammanfattning : Beef is a highly demanded food and plays an important role in the everyday diet for many people. The most common methods for measuring meat quality attributes are pH, colour, water-holding capacity, intramuscular fat, flavour and tenderness, are more or less performed by subjective methods and various types of chemical methods, which all are time consuming, invasive and de-structive. 3. Increased Safety on Cycling Paths by Improving Road Maintenance : A Concept to Report Faults and Provide Grades on Cycling Paths
Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbarhet och miljöteknikSammanfattning : Urbanisation is increasing and more sustainable transport modes are promoted, in both the sustainable development goals and the national goals. Sweden has developed a national cycling strategy, with the purpose to improve cycling infrastructure and make more people chose the bike. LÄS MER
4. Cross-sectional study of Anaplasma spp. in goats and sheep in Mongolia : a comparison between species in relationship to pasture conditions
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, SLU/Dept. of Clinical SciencesSammanfattning : Anaplasma ovis, the main aetiology behind of ovine and caprine anaplasmosis, is a vector-borne bacterium of the order Rickettsiales, capable of infecting erythrocytes of small ruminants. The infection is generally a subclinical or mild condition, but stress-factors as co-infections, vaccinations, or transports may aggravate the disease. LÄS MER
5. Simulating Perception : Perception based colours in virtual environments
Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för informationsteknologiSammanfattning : This research explores the differences between how game engine cameras and the human visual system (HVS) render colour. The study is motivated by a two part research question: will HVS colours or game camera colours be preferred when experiencing a virtual environment from a 1st-person perspective and how does light intensity relate to preference? While previous research defines perceptual processes which influence the interpretation of colour information this study advances the understanding of how these theories may be applied to 3D colour grading.
