The SCSs under investigation consist of two steel faceplates held together by tie bars, concrete is cast inside, and stress transmission between the concrete and the steel plates is provided by shear connectors as headed studs. In our work we are interested in a cut-off property of such operators; namely, if the operator is small enough, does it have to be zero? Or more in general, must its symbol be of a particular form?
