  1. 1. Breathing interplay effects during Tomotherapy. A 3D gel dosimetry study

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Sjukhusfysikerutbildningen

    Författare :Anna Ljusberg; [2013]
    Nyckelord :Medicine and Health Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Tomotherapy delivers intensity modulated radiation therapy, IMRT, which enables highly advanced treatment plans with homogenous absorbed dose coverage of the target with sharp dose gradients to spare surrounding healthy tissue. Helical tomotherapy consists of a linear accelerator mounted on a rotating gantry, the construction is similar to a CT although the energy is in the MV-range instead of kV and extra collimators and beam stopper are inserted [1-3]. 2. 2. Past and present Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) regenaration along site type gradients in Bialowieza Forest, Poland

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre

    Författare :Lina Behrens; [2011]
    Nyckelord :Pinus sylvestris regeneration; oak-lime-hornbeam forest Tilio-Carpinetum; regeneration pulses; forest and fire history; traditional forest utilization;

    Sammanfattning : Since 1921 the Białowieża National Park (BNP)/Poland strictly protects one of the bestpreserved ancient lowland forests of the European temperate zone, with many stands close tonatural character. Within the reserve, old Pinus sylvestris trees grow on fertile soils in a mixeddeciduous forest (oak-lime-hornbeam forest Tilio-Carpinetum) with a very rich and densefield layer. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Epiphytic algae on Norway spruce needles in Sweden : geographical distribution, time-trends and influence of site factors

    L3-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Forest Soils

    Författare :Laura Poggio; [2002]
    Nyckelord :picea abies; leaves; algae; geographical distribution; trends; site factors; forest inventories; statistical methods; Sweden;

    Sammanfattning : The occurrence of epiphytic vegetation in temperate and boreal forest is a fairly recent phenomenon. Epiphytic algae have increased especially on Norway spruce (Picea abies L.Karst.) needles in the southern part of Scandinavia and in Central Europe. LÄS MER
