    Sammanfattning : This study aims to demonstrate the potential for understanding first millennium glass beads not as individual representatives of types, but as collections of objects brought together and curated by owners. It uses the author’s experience as a skilled bead maker to investigate processes of bead production and mechanics of bead collection current in Scandinavia and Anglo-Saxon England in the period of 6th to 9th century AD.     Sammanfattning : This paper uses an osteological approach and applies the study of entanglement in an attempt to understand the crematoria on Rapa Nui (Easter Island), which represent a unique tradition within the ceremonial spheres of the Polynesian area. Skeletal remains from the crematorium of ahu Hanga Hahave, which consist of both cremated - and unburned remains, have been analysed to reveal the different practices that took part in the cremation process and to identify the individuals that were deposited in such structure. The burial ground on Vindförberg was used between the years 100 and 550 AD. during the Iron age.     Sammanfattning : The purpose of this paper is to see what new information can be added to the growing knowledge of the site Buttle Änge by analysing the osteological materials that have been found in proximity to picture stones (trench 4) and the inlying cairn (trench 12) in 2013. This area has been used in varying ways for a very long time, on the site graves from the late Vendel Period and early Viking Age have been dated in addition to this large amounts of ceramic shards and slag indicate that at some point melting and pottery had been performed on the site.
