  1. 1. AI inom radiologi, nuläge och framtid

    Kandidat-uppsats,

    Författare :Linus Täreby; William Bertilsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Artificial intelligence AI ; Computer Science CS ; Machine Learning ML ; Artificial Neural Network ANN ; Deep Learning DL ; Radiology; Computed Tomography CT ; Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRI ; Artificiell intelligens AI ; Computer Science CS ; Machine Learning ML ; Artificial Neural Network ANN ; Deep Learning DL ; Radiologi; Computed Tomography CT ; Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRI ;

    Sammanfattning : Denna uppsats presenterar resultaten av en kvalitativ undersökning som syftar till att ge en djupare förståelse för användningen av AI inom radiologi, dess framtida påverkan på yrket och hur det används idag. Genom att genomföra tre intervjuer med personer som arbetar inom radiologi, har datainsamlingen fokuserat på att identifiera de positiva och negativa aspekterna av AI i radiologi, samt dess potentiella konsekvenser på yrket. 2. 2. Generating Synthetic CT Images Using Diffusion Models

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysik

    Författare :Salih Saleh; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Machine learning; artificial intelligence; generative models; diffusion models; MRI; CT; synthetic CT; radiation therapy;

    Sammanfattning : Magnetic resonance (MR) images together with computed tomography (CT) images are used in many medical practices, such as radiation therapy. To capture those images, patients have to undergo two separate scans: one for the MR image, which involves using strong magnetic fields, and one for the CT image which involves using radiation (x-rays). 3. 3. Effects of reconstruction parameters on the image quality and quantification of PET images from PET/MRI and PET/CT systems

    Master-uppsats,

    Författare :Ali Amena Hussain; [2022-03-09]
    Nyckelord :Medical physics; PET CT; PET MRI; OSEM; BPL; NEMA IQ; positron emission tomography; magnetic resonance imaging; computed tomography; ordered Subset Expectation Maximization; The Bayesian Penalized Likelihood;

    Sammanfattning : Aim: To study how reconstruction parameters affect the positron emission tomography (PET) image quality and quantitative results for the different lesion to background radioactivity ratios in three different PET systems. Introduction: Multimodality imaging that combines magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computed tomography (CT) with a PET system can produce medical images containing both functional and anatomical information. 4. 4. osimetric impact of system spe cific geometric distortion on head and neck treatment plans in MRI only based radiation therapy

    Master-uppsats,

    Författare :Jesper Brovall; [2022-01-13]
    Nyckelord :Medical physics; Dosimetry; MRI; Radiation therapy;

    Sammanfattning : Background/ purpose: Because of the superior soft tissue contrast, in comparison with computed tomography (CT) data, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is of high interest to include in a larger extent in the ra diation therapy (RT) process. In an MRI only workflow, the CT scan is excluded and a synthetic CT is used for treatment plan ning. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Imaging of the MTP joint: Developing an imaging protocol optimised for damage detection and 3D modelling

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Fysik

    Författare :Johanna Jacobsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :computed tomography; magnetic resonance imaging; cone beam computedtomography; cartilage; osteochondral lesions; metatarsal phalangeal joint; datortomografi; magnetisk resonanstomografi; kon-datortomografi; brosk; kondrala skador; metatarsalphalangen-leden;

    Sammanfattning : Walking without pain in the toe has a significant impact on a person’s well-being. Human mobility will be impaired in osteoarthritis of the big toe, and pain will occur during walking. By replacing the cartilage or bone injury with an individualised implant, osteochondral injuries to the knee and ankle can be treated. LÄS MER
