    Sammanfattning : Syftet med detta arbete var att jämföra östradiolkoncentrationer och östradiolpåverkan på vaginal-epitelet hos tikar i olika löpstadier och tikar med sjukdomstillstånden pyometra och juvertumörer, och på så sätt studera användbarheten av vaginalcytologi som diagnostiskt verktyg vid dessa sjukdomstillstånd.
