   Sammanfattning : Sjön Hjälmaren är belägen där Örebro, Västmanlands och Södermanlands län möts. Sänkningen av denna sjö mellan 1878 och 1888 framstår som ganska spektakulär, inte minst från ett nutida perspektiv.
