Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/SpanskaSammanfattning : Con punto de partida en el discurso periodístico cubano —por un lado, la prensa oficialista; por el otro, la prensa no-oficialista—, esta tesina investiga el uso y la función de la metáfora dentro de la transmisión de la imagen de la situación política de Cuba. Mediante un estudio comparativo basado en la lingüística cognitiva y la teoría de la metáfora conceptual, junto con algunas teorías sobre la metáfora en el discurso político, se destaca la importancia de las metáforas de personificación, guerra y viaje en los textos investigados, resaltando los diferentes modos de aplicarlas en los dos lados de la prensa.
