    Sammanfattning : Due to the changing climate and inherent atypically occurring meteorological events in the Arctic regions, more accurate snow quality predictions are needed in order to support the Sámi reindeer herding communities in northern Sweden that struggle to adapt to the rapidly changing Arctic climate.     Sammanfattning : Till följd av den utveckling som skett hos digitalkameror och programvaror för bildbehandling de senaste åren har intresset för fotobaserad skanning (FBS) vuxit. I denna studie utvärderades FBS som ett alternativ till terrester laserskanning (TLS) för statisk deformationsmätning och relaterade till kavitationsskador på vattenturbinkolvar där volym och maxdjup mäts.
