  1. 1. Continuous Balance Evaluation by Image Analysis of Live Video : Fall Prevention Through Pose Estimation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)

    Författare :Henrik Runeskog; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Fall prevention; balance estimation; center of mass; center of pressure; human pose estimation; human keypoint detection; Fallprevention; balansestimering; tyngdpunkt; tryckcentrum; kroppshållningsestimation;

    Sammanfattning : The deep learning technique Human Pose Estimation (or Human Keypoint Detection) is a promising field in tracking a person and identifying its posture. As posture and balance are two closely related concepts, the use of human pose estimation could be applied to fall prevention. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Investigation of Increased Mapping Quality Generated by a Neural Network for Camera-LiDAR Sensor Fusion

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Mekatronik; KTH/Mekatronik

    Författare :Joan Li Guisell Correa Silva; Sofia Jönsson; [2021]
    Nyckelord :sensor fusion; error detection; neural network; sources of error; mapping quality; SLAM; sensor fusion; felavkänning; neuralt nätverk; felkällor; kartläggningskvalitet; SLAM;

    Sammanfattning : This study’s aim was to investigate the mapping part of Simultaneous Localisation And Mapping (SLAM) in indoor environments containing error sources relevant to two types of sensors. The sensors used were an Intel Realsense depth camera and an RPlidar Light Detection AndRanging (LiDAR). LÄS MER

  3. 3. Virtual Reality Data Visualization : Concepts, technologies and more

    M1-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för informationsteknologi; Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Mattias Gustafsson; Oliver Odd; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Virtual Reality; VR; Data Visualization;

    Sammanfattning : Data Visualization (DV) can be seen as an important tool for communication and data analysis. Especially when huge amounts of data are involved, visual representation of data can facilitate observation of trends and patterns as well as understanding. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Augmented reality with holograms for combat management systems : Performance limitations for sonar tracks in a 3D map, presented with Microsoft HoloLens

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, KTH/Skolan för informations- och kommunikationsteknik (ICT); KTH/Skolan för informations- och kommunikationsteknik (ICT)

    Författare :Carl Uddman Lindh; Johan Norberg; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Saab Defence and Security; Microsoft HoloLens; augmented reality; 9LV Combat Management System; terrain mapping; Unity3D; protocol buffer; holograms; Saab Defence and Security; Microsoft HoloLens; förstärkt verklighet; 9LV Combat Management System; Unity3D; protocol buffer; hologram;

    Sammanfattning : Technical advancements in 3D projection has recently made presentation of holographic images possible by using self-contained devices. Instead of using a screen to present objects, glasses like Microsoft HoloLens can render objects that appear as holograms around the user. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Overviewing and VR information visualizations : How interacting with, and perceiving an information visualization in VR affects our overview of the information visualization

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för datavetenskap och kommunikation (CSC)

    Författare :Anton Sivertsson; [2017]
    Nyckelord :vr; information visualization; infovis; overview;

    Sammanfattning : Society generates more and more data every day, and with competent ways to visualize it, we can learn new things about the world we live in. While traditional visualizations try to stay clear of 3D graphs because they are hard for a user to process without proper depth cues, VR technology allows us to better perceive 3D structures, but what happens to our overview of the data when we perceive and interact with it in 3D? 6 participants were subject to a 3D VR visualization of customer data with filtering possibilities, where they were to perform a series of short tasks as well as a more open-ended free form task.
