  1. 1. Nyanlända och andra generationens invandrare möter textrika matematikuppgifter på svenska : svårigheter, möjligheter och resursanvändning ur åtta flerspråkiga elevers perspektiv

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Malmö universitet/Institutionen för naturvetenskap, matematik och samhälle (NMS)

    Författare :Imanh Nikontovic; Mohammad Alhasani; [2022]
    Nyckelord :newly arrived pupils; second language learners; text-rich mathematical tasks; word problems; resources; Nyanlända elever; andraspråkselever; textrika matematikuppgifter; resurser;

    Sammanfattning : A number of studies have found that pupils, both newly arrived and other pupils who speak Swedish as a second language, have difficulties with mathematical tasks that consist of a few or more lines of text. It often seems to be a matter of mainly linguistic problems that are related to word and reading comprehension, that is, understanding and interpretation of formal concepts and words in the second language. 2. 2. Development and Evaluation of a Road Marking Recognition Algorithm implemented on Neuromorphic Hardware

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Datavetenskap

    Författare :Santiago Bou Betran; [2022]
    Nyckelord :SpiNNaker; Neuromorphic Hardware; Spiking Neural Network; Computer vision system; Lane recognition; Autonomous driving; Line Recognition; Neuromorphic Vision Sensors; Third Generation Neural Networks; Algorithm Evaluation.; SpiNNaker; Neuromorfiska hårdvara; neuromorfiska pulserande neuronnät; Datorseende system; läser av körbanans; självkörande bilar; läser av linjer; dynamiska synsensorer; Tredje generation neuronnät; utvärdering av algoritmen.; Hardware Neuromórfico; Sistemas de visión por computador; Reconocimiento de Carril; Conducción autónoma; Sensores de visión neuromórfica; Redes neuronales de Impulsos; Redes Neuronales de Tercera Generación; Evaluación de Algoritmos.;

    Sammanfattning : Driving is one of the most common and preferred forms of transport used in our actual society. However, according to studies, it is also one of the most dangerous. One solution to increase safety on the road is applying technology to automate and prevent avoidable human errors. LÄS MER

  3. 3. RoBuoy : Dynamic Positioning of an Autonomous Buoy using GNSS

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Mekatronik

    Författare :Erik Anderberg; Martin Olanders; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Autonomous; Buoy; GPS; GNSS; Robot; Mechatronics; Dynamic positioning; Autonom; Boj; GPS; GNSS; Robot; Mekatronik; Dynamisk positionering;

    Sammanfattning : Buoys anchored to the seabed are often used for marking courses in competitive sailing and other water sports, but they may need to be relocated several times per day. To avoid the time and fuel consuming labour of raising and moving the anchors, a prototype of an autonomous buoy using electric motors to maintain its position was built and tested. LÄS MER

  4. 4. A Data Plane native PPV PIE Active Queue Mangement Scheme using P4 on a Programmable Switching ASIC

    Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för matematik och datavetenskap (from 2013)

    Författare :Love Dahlberg; [2021]
    Nyckelord :AQM; PIE; PPV; P4; Tofino;

    Sammanfattning : New internet services require low and stable latency, which is difficult to provide with traditional routers and queuing mechanisms. Current routers aim to provide high throughput using large buffers causing considerable network latency under load. LÄS MER

  5. 5. DESIGN, MODELLING AND CONTROL OF A THRUST BASED UAV

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Rymdteknik

    Författare :Enrico Giacomini; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The current year, 2021, started with the landing of the Perseverance mission and the flight of the first drone on Mars, marking an important event in the history of space exploration. The exploration of new environments would be easier and characterised by the absence of various obstacles if implementing a larger use of drones. LÄS MER
