  1. 1. Exploring the use of mobile warehouses in midsized urban and rural regions for last-mile transportation

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan Dalarna/Institutionen för information och teknik

    Författare :Mfon Etuk; Radu Ștefan Mihai; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Mobile Warehouse; Last-Mile Logistics; Supply Chain; Logistics; Distribution;

    Sammanfattning : Abstract: Efficient last-mile transportation is a continuous difficulty for businesses, particularly in e-commerce, necessitating the development of creative solutions. This thesis investigates the use of mobile warehouses in mid-sized urban and rural areas to help with this problem. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Optimization of Path and Trajectory for Underground Mining Machines

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för systemteknik

    Författare :Farid Marouki; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Underground mining machines play a critical role in the mining industry, enablingexcavation of valuable minerals from subterranean deposits. The efficiency of mining op-erations relies heavily on the effectiveness of these machines. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Capacitated Multi Depot Green Vehicle Routing for Transporting End-of-Life electrical waste : A practical study on environmental and social sustainability within the field of CMDGVRP with heterogeneous fleets

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Karl-Johan Djervbrant; Andreas Häggström; [2021]
    Nyckelord :VRP; GVRP; CMDGVRP; Routing; Optimization; Environmental; Sustainability; Environmental sustainability; Social sustainability; Waste collection; Heterogeneous fleet;

    Sammanfattning : A comprehensive study is presented of the Capacitated Multi DepotGreen Vehicle Routing Problem (CMDGVRP) applied to a heterogeneous fleet of electronic waste collecting vehicles with two objectives: to reduce the total fuel consumption of the vehicles (environmental sustainability) and to limit the continuous drive-time of the drivers (social sustainability). Research has been limited from this aspect, and in this study, the focus is on the practical application of pickup and delivery of electronic waste. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Individualized Pedestrian and Micromobility Routing Incorporating Static and Dynamic Parameters

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Kommunikations- och transportsystem; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska fakulteten

    Författare :Adam Grachek; [2021]
    Nyckelord :shortest path; pedestrian; micromobility; routing demonstrator; routing features;

    Sammanfattning : This project seeks to demonstrate routing optimization that would allow pedestrian and micromobility user groups to select and prioritize different route features according to their preferences. Through the creation of a routing demonstrator that considers both static and dynamic parameters in the form of pavement quality, elevation climb, travel time, and air quality, along with user-specified weights for their prioritization of each of these parameters, a number of routes were created and mapped to qualitatively compare against routes representing only a shortest path. 5. 5. Routing of autonomous vehicles with lane change possibilities

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Vishnu Pradheep Raveendran; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : An autonomous vehicle has to understand the surrounding dynamic environment to make the driving decisions such as lane change by giving way to the dynamic obstacles. Motion planning is a challenging problem for an autonomous vehicle while changing a lane in the complex dynamic environment, as the optimal solution for routing must be computed in real time. LÄS MER
