1. Users’ Perceptions of the Patient-Accessible Electronic Health Record “Journalen” : An interpretive research from users’ perceptions
Master-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för informatik (IK)Sammanfattning : The aim of this master’s thesis is to investigate patients’ and physicians’ perceptions and recommendations of Patient-Accessible Electronic Health Records (PAEHR) in order to achieve Patient-Centred Care (PCC). The study employs Soft System Methodology (SSM) as a holistic approach to understanding the complex and dynamic nature of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) in the healthcare sector. LÄS MER
2. Evaluating Security Mechanisms of Substation Automation Systems
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Substations are important components for transforming voltage and distributing power in electrical infrastructure. Modern substations are usually automated by substation automation systems, which offload the work of operators and reduce potential human error. LÄS MER
3. Spectromorphological Reductions : Exploring and developing approaches for sound-based notation of live electronics
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Musik, medier och teaterSammanfattning : In this master’s thesis, a sound-based notation system is explored and developed in the composition and performance of a musical work for live electronics. My approach builds on existing systems for electroacoustic music analysis, most notably Dennis Smalley’s (1997) theory of spectromorphology and the symbolic language of Lasse Thoresen & Andreas Hedman (2007) based on Pierre Schaeffer’s typo-morphology, as well as Mattias Sköld’s (2023) adaptation of this system for composition and transcription (Sound Notation). 4. Design and implementation of an energy harvesting system in a prosthetic limb
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Energy Harvesting, also known as power harvesting or ambient power, is the process of obtaining small amounts of power from secondary sources, such as vibrations, light, temperature variations and even radio-frequency emissions. These systems have been uncommon in personal and wearable electronics in the past, however they are slowly gaining traction. LÄS MER
5. Utilizing Neural Networks To Adaptively Demodulate And Decode Signals In An Impulsive Environment
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Avdelningen för datalogiSammanfattning : Electromagnetic disturbance can be detrimental to the performance of a radio communication system, and in today’s society where more and more electronic devices are present in our everyday life it is increasingly vital to consider man-made interference. A communication system can take into consideration the noise characteristics and by doing so will excel in such areas, however, this follows that the algorithms utilized in such systems are more computationally complex and are therefore slow.
