    Sammanfattning : Ekvint metabolt syndrom (EMS) kan förklaras som ett antal riskfaktorer som bidrar till utvecklingen av fång hos hästar. Insulindysreglering (ID) och obesitas med eller utan regional fettansättning utgör viktiga riskfaktorer som ingår i syndromet.
