  1. 1. CFD Analysis of Engine Room Temperature : CFD Analysis of Engine Room Temperature: Case study The Grange Castle Power Plant Project

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Avdelningen för byggnadsteknik, energisystem och miljövetenskap

    Författare :William Wanli; [2023]
    Nyckelord : CFD Computational Fluid Dynamics; ventilation system; temperature; airflow; engine room.;

    Sammanfattning : Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has emerged as an indispensable tool in various engineering fields, particularly in the design and optimization of HVAC systems in complex environments, such as engine rooms. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of CFD applications and focuses on the engine rooms of the Grange Castle Power Plant in Dublin, Ireland. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Development of Sensor Concept to Regulate Fuel Supply During Priming of Water to Air Heater in Production

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Karl Hemlin; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The Water To Air heater (WTA) is a component that heats the interior and the engine of the truck by heating coolant through a combustion of diesel fuel. It is vital that the Water To Air heater is primed with fuel prior to using it in order for it to start when desired. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Design of a Polygeneration system in Filipinas ETCR, Colombia

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Germán Ropero Pérez; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This project has addressed the design of a cost-effective Polygeneration system that guarantees a continuous, equitable and environmentally friendly energy supply for the rural settlement of Filipinas ETCR, (in Spanish, Espacios Territoriales de Capacitación y Reincorporación) Colombia, which is currently not achieved, due to a system that relies on the national electricity grid (with numerous outages) and on LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and wood to meet the thermal demand, mainly for cooking. For this purpose, in addition to the current energy supply situation, the energy demand according to type (electricity and heat) and sector (residential, commercial and agro-livestock) is characterized.
