1. Development of a Novel Biocatalytic Cascade for the Valorisation of 5-(Hydroxymethyl)furfural
2. Organic Electrochemical Transistors for the Detection of Xanthine
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Food waste is gradually becoming a serious global issue in recent decades. It is reported that more than 1.3 billion tonnes of food consisting of around 50 % meat products are wasted every year on a global scale, while there are more than 800 million of the global population who are starving at the same time. 3. Generation and characterization of a prostate-specific membrane antigen positive eukaryotic cell system for phage selection
Master-uppsats, KTH/ProteinvetenskapSammanfattning : Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancer types worldwide. However, current diagnostic approaches and treatments are invasive and unspecific. Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is an ideal biomarker for prostate cancer and can act as a target for therapeutic or diagnostic agents. LÄS MER
4. Biosensor based on immobilized amine transaminase for detection of amphetamine
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)Sammanfattning : Amine transaminases (ATA) catalyse the transfer of an amino group from one molecule and replaces a ketone or aldehyde with the amino group, the amino group on the amino-donor is replaced with a ketone or aldehyde. This enzyme, ATA from Chromobacterium violaceum, has previously been used to catalyse the reaction involving amphetamine, therefore, it might be possible to use this enzyme to convert amphetamine and the product absorbs in the UV spectrum and can therefore be measured spectrophotometrically. 5. Nanolithography with molecules using advanced scanning probe microscopy methods
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematikSammanfattning : The possibilities of novel catalytic scanning probe lithography (cSPL) on starch using α-amylase was investigated. For this thin homogeneous layers of starch with good coverage were prepared by spin coating a starch solution on a silicon base. LÄS MER
