    Sammanfattning : El presente estudio tiene como meta el investigar si existe correlación o no entre la motivación y la competencia comunicativa en un grupo de aprendices de inglés como lengua meta (LM), es decir, como segunda lengua (L2) del primero, segundo y tercer grado de la enseñanza secundaria mexicana, quienes cuentan con el español como primera lengua (L1). Asimismo, nos interesa conocer el contacto que tienen dichos alumnos con la L2 y a su vez, determinar el papel que la identidad étnica (IE) juega en el estudio de la misma. LÄS MER
