11. Improving Daylighting Utilization in LTH Study Center
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Energi och byggnadsdesign; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljöSammanfattning : Daylighting is a free source of light that fosters a direct connection to nature. It has a great potential to enhance the health and productivity of the building inhabitants, to improve thermal and visual comfort in indoor spaces, and to increase energy efficiency in buildings. 12. Investigating The Relationship Between Mean Radiant Temperature (MRT) And Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) : A case study in a University building
Master-uppsats, KTH/Installations- och energisystemSammanfattning : Thermal comfort in an indoor environment is largely dependent on the four environmental and two personal parameters which is most commonly measured by the Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) model developed by Fanger. It has been studied that variations in these parameters beyond a range could lead to discomfort complaints. LÄS MER
13. A concept to evaluate dynamic daylight glare
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Energi och byggnadsdesign; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljöSammanfattning : A method towards a dynamic daylight glare evaluation in the early stage of design was developed in this thesis, using existing glare metrics under multiple observer positions and gazes. The results pointed out that it is possible for a zonal characterization regarding glare sensation to be achieved with the combination of multiple existing metrics and a weighting system, named the adaptation possibility. 14.
15. Smart window in Sweden : A comparative analysis of an office buildingsimulation model with conventional windows, andelectrochromic windows, based on Miljöbyggnadcertification criteria
Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad termodynamik och kylteknikSammanfattning : The building sector is one of the sectors that consume most energy in Sweden. Sweden aims thereby to reduce energy use in buildings by 20% by 2020 and 50% by 2050. To achieve these goals, more energyefficient buildings must be produced, and more energy-efficient measures must be implemented on existing buildings. LÄS MER
