   Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to examine what kind of influences ”Fridhems Folkhögskola´s Music Education for Female Instrumentalists” (MKI) has had for the young women who studied there. Are they helped by the education and in what way? Are they helped by the education in their continuous life within music? I also wanted to examine if I could find statistical results that would compare the students from Music Education for female instrumentalists with the students from jazz educations at the colleges of music in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo.
