  1. 1. Control of carbon dioxide capture from biomass CHP plants : Designing a suitable control system to realize the flexible operation of the CO2 capture system

    Master-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för ekonomi, samhälle och teknik

    Författare :Tanmmay Rout; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Carbon capture; biomass fired combined heat and power plant; MEA based chemical absorption; flue gas; dynamic operation; PI controllers;

    Sammanfattning : This degree project studies the integration of carbon capture system into biomass fired combined heat and power (bio-CHP) plants. The key disturbances from bio-CHP plants include flue gas flow rate, carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration and available heat for the reboiler because the use of versatile biomass and the dynamic operation of CHP plants results in large fluctuations in the properties of flue gas and the heat input for CO2 capture. 3. 3. Unleashing Profitability: Unraveling the Labor-R&D Nexus in SaaS Tech Firms : An Analysis of the Profitability Dynamics in SaaS Tech Firms through Stochastic Frontier

    Magister-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för industriell ekonomi

    Författare :prashant Atla; Noräs Salman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Employee growth; SaaS Industries; Profitability; Technical efficiency; Stochastic Frontier Analysis; Marginal Product of Labor; Panel data Models;

    Sammanfattning : Background: High-tech's rapid growth and prioritization of expansion over profitability can lead to vulnerability in economic downturns. The SaaS market, a part of the high-tech industry, offers affordable and flexible software solutions but is also susceptible to market volatility. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Additive Manufacturing for Volume Production : A case study in supply chain benefits of AM implementation

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Industriell teknik

    Författare :Carl-Johan Bjelke; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Additive manufacturing; Industry 4.0; Design for additive manufacturing; Rapid prototyping; Mass customization; Parts consolidation; Supply chain processes; Decentralized manufacturing.;

    Sammanfattning : Additive manufacturing was first introduced in the 80s and has ever since been used as a tool for rapid prototyping. Its flexible manufacturing characteristics makes it optimal for creating complex geometries in one manufacturing process, eliminating assembly time for several individual parts. LÄS MER
