  1. 16. Hybrid Instruments and the Role played by Credit Rating Agencies and IAS 32

    D-uppsats, Handelshögskolan i Stockholm/Institutionen för redovisning och finansiering

    Författare :Federico Renzi; Christoffer Abrahamsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Hybrid Instruments; IAS 32; Credit Rating; Equity; Debt;

    Sammanfattning : Financial instruments with characteristics of equity (FICEs) are complex securities that have features lying in between equity and liability, making their classification particularly challenging. This paper has therefore explored several under-researched areas related to the issuance of FICEs by publicly trading European companies. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Pilot Study on Working Memory : Investigating Single Trial Decoding to Find the Best Stimulus and Target for a Future Personalized Neurofeedback

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Erik Gasparini; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Visual working memory; Personalised neurofeedback; Visual stimulus; Targeted brain region.;

    Sammanfattning : A standard Neurofeedback approach to mitigate the working memory decline in some fragile groups (elderly, subjects affected by stroke or Alzheimer's disease) can be suboptimal for some patients. The goal of this research is to investigate which visual stimulus (among colour, geometrical shape, direction, and symbol) is the most suited for each of the six healthy participants and which brain areas are the most discriminative, during the maintenance of a presented stimulus in a retro-cue-based working memory experiment. 3. 18. Exercise Classification with Machine Learning

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Joel Ekstrand; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Machine learning; signal processing; noise reduction; feature extraction; exercise classification; machine learning; signalprocessering; brusreducering; feature extraction; rörelseklassificering;

    Sammanfattning : Innowearable AB has developed a product called Inno-XTM that calculates musclefatigue during three exercises: squat jumps, wall sit, and leg extension. Inno-X uses an accelerometer and a surface electromyography sensor. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Tra i misteri di Accabadora e Själabarn: Il mondo sardo trasferito in Scandinavia : Un’analisi traduttologica degli elementi culturospecifici nella traduzione svedese dell’opera testando l’applicabilità del modello di Jan Pedersen

    Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för språkstudier

    Författare :Sara Frigerio; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Culture Specific Items; translation strategies; source text vs. target text; Jan Pedersen s model; Sardinian realia; Termini culturospecifici; strategie traduttologiche; l’adeguatezza versus l’accettabilità; Jan Pedersen; i realia sardi;

    Sammanfattning : This study analyses the various culture-specific items known as realia words from the Italian novel Accabadora, written by Michela Murgia (2009) and translated into Swedish by Barbro Andersson (2012). Moreover, this paper also examines the various translation strategies used in rendering the specific culture items and their grade of frequency based on Jan Pedersen’s model. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Reusage classification of damaged Paper Cores using Supervised Machine Learning

    M1-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Max Elofsson; Victor Larsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Machine Learning; Supervised Learning; classification; 3D sensor; TriSpector1008; SICK; paper core; paper mill; KNN; Support Vector Machine; Decision Trees; Random Forest; Maskininlärning; klassificering; papperskärna; pappersbruk;

    Sammanfattning : This paper consists of a project exploring the possibility to assess paper code reusability by measuring chuck damages utilizing a 3D sensor and usingMachine Learning to classify reusage. The paper cores are part of a rolling/unrolling system at a paper mill whereas a chuck is used to slow and eventually stop the revolving paper core, which creates damages that at a certain point is too grave for reuse.
