    Sammanfattning : In this master’s thesis I have explored what characterises the setting of dolmens and passage graves in north-eastern and south-eastern Scania, southern Sweden, if there are common features, and what meaning/connection the setting can imply. By combining field visits at twenty-four sites with search results from the Swedish National Heritage Board’s database, map studies, literature studies and previous research, I have found that the sites are characterised by diversity in the setting, though some sites share a combination of characteristics.     Sammanfattning : The aim in this thesis is to use carbon, nitrogen and sulfur isotope analysis on teeth and bone to track diet and mobility of the population as well as the individual level from the articulated and disarticulated individuals from the passage grave Frälsegården, situated in Gökhem parish in the region of Falbygden, western Sweden. 50 human samples were analyzed from tooth, mandibula and femur, together with 11 faunal samples from different bone elements of local wild and domestic animals.
