Sammanfattning : Chameleons are scalar fields coming from modied gravity theories and can be possible explanations for Dark Energy. They cause a fifth force and have a screening mechanism which allows this force to avoid solar system constraints. Sammanfattning : The globular cluster population of large spiral galaxies can be divided into two populations: one population which formed in-situ and one which has been assembled through capture of clusters that have been tidally stripped away from other galaxies during close encounters or mergers. Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the idea of calibrating Level 1 jets. These are used in the Trigger-Level Analysis at the ATLAS in the search for a new mediator, in this case between Standard Model and Dark Matter particles.
