  1. 1. Experiencing the moment : Enhancing surroundig awareness when walking

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Designhögskolan vid Umeå universitet

    Författare :Borut Kerzic; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Design; Interaction design; navigation; haptics; mobile interaction; multimodal interaction;

    Sammanfattning : Todays technology provides the ability for people to interact with devices at all time, but it also makes them gaze down and loose touch with their surrounding while doing so.  This project explored alternatives to the current way of providing guidance while walking by designing in the context, rather than design for the context. 2. 2. The impact of social influence on pre-evacuation behavior - An eye tracking analysis on information gathering during pre-evacuation behavior, comparing normative and informational social influence

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik

    Författare :Rebecca Rostedt; Sofie Andersson; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Social influence; informational social influence; normative social influence; pre-evacuation; evacuation; eye-tracking; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This study explores social influence within the pre-evacuation phase, which includes a literature review followed by experiments. The study is based on experiments by Latané and Darley (1968) but altered, here using eye tracking to examine if people who are alone use their gaze in the same way as people in a group, when collecting information in the pre-evacuation phase. 3. 3. Video Saliency Detection using Deep Learning

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Jakob Wiesinger; [2019]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : A deep learning model for video saliency detection is proposed and trained. The neural network architecture combines recent innovations in the field: A twostream approach merges two separate input streams for appearance and motion aspects of saliency. Pre-trained convolutional features detect objectness. LÄS MER

  4. 4. So... this is how you look on Tinder : A quantitative study about how young adults in Sweden self-present themselves on Tinder.

    Kandidat-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Fakulteten för humaniora och samhällsvetenskap (from 2013); Karlstads universitet/Fakulteten för humaniora och samhällsvetenskap (from 2013)

    Författare :Emelie Pettersson; Warat Lindström; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Self-presentation; gender; stereotypes; online dating; young adults;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to analyze how young adult self-present themselves on Tinder and the relationship between user’s self-presentation and gender to investigate if there are differences. While there are plenty of research connected to self-presentation and online dating, most of them were conducted on English speaking dating sites. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Implementing gaze tracking with a simple web camera

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS); KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Martin Falke; Lucas Höglund; [2019]
    Nyckelord :computer vision; gaze tracking; web camera; desktop environment; datorseende; blickspårning; webbkamera; skrivbordsmiljö;

    Sammanfattning : Gaze tracking is a field within computer vision that has a large number of possible areas of application. However, much of the software available for gaze tracking is locked to licenses and/or certain equipment that can be expensive, hard to get a hold of, intrusive for the user, or simply impractical.
