  1. 6. Using Gamification to Improve User Experience and Health Effects in Mobile Applications

    Kandidat-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Jonathan Andersson; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Gamification e-health; human-computer interaction; mobile applications; usability;

    Sammanfattning : Background. According to the World Health Organization, over 264 million people suffer from depression. A recent trend to treat and combat depression is e-health applications like Headspace with the help of mindfulness or meditation. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Från strikt praktik till anspråkslös hobbyutövning i fickformat : Hur västvärlden har omtolkat och omformulerat insiktsmeditationen vipassana – en systematiskt undersökning av meditationsapplikationer för smartphones

    L2-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för etnologi, religionshistoria och genusvetenskap

    Författare :Daniel McCarthy; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Hur ser samspelet ut mellan moderna smartphoneapplikationer och meditationstraditioner som dateras tillbaka till 500 år före vår tideräkning? Denna uppsats utforskar hur buddhismen yttrar sig i den ’moderna’ västvärlden i en sekulär kontext, där religiositeten i vissa fall har förenklats och nått en ny typ av praktiserande – med meditationsapplikationer i våra mobiltelefoner. Det mobila meditationslandskapet utgörs av framgångsrika applikationer, däribland Headspace, Calm och Buddhify, som tillsammans syftar till att vägleda och förenkla meditation och mindfulness. 3. 8. Development of an analytical method for the screening of meaty flavors in commercial foodstuff by SPME-GC/O-MS

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Livsmedelsteknik och nutrition (master)

    Författare :Ioannis Protopappas; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Gass Chromatography; Mass spectrometry; Meaty flavors; Aromas; Solid pahse microextraction; Mallaird; Lipid degradation; Food technology; Agriculture and Food Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of the project was to develop a methodology for the chromatographic analysis able to identify the key odorants in meaty food products. The approach was based on the analysis of an already in market product and the theoretical background of the meaty flavors sensorially. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Development of headspace solid phase microextraction gas chromatography mass spectrometry method for analysis of volatile organic compounds in board samples : Correlation study between chromatographic data and flavor properties

    Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för ingenjörs- och kemivetenskaper (from 2013)

    Författare :Thea Zethelius; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Solid phase microextraction SPME ; method development; volatile organic compounds VOCs ; food contact material FCM ; flavor experience; design of experiment DoE ; multivariate analysis;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis work was to develop a headspace solid phase microextraction gas chromatography mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS) method to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in board samples and to statistically investigate potential correlation between chromatographic data and flavor data obtained from a trained panel. The developed method would hopefully serve as a complement to the already established routine analyses at Stora Enso and gain an increased understanding of which VOCs in the board influence its flavor properties. 5. 10. Greenhoue gas flux over a 50-year post permafrost thaw gradient. Decomposition of soil organic carbon from the Swedish tussock tundra.

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Johan Martinelli; [2020-02-11]
    Nyckelord :greenhouse gas; permafrost;

    Sammanfattning : As the globe is warming the extent of permafrost drastically decreases in the high latitudes. Upon thaw the stored soil organic carbon (SOC) undergoes rapid decomposition and is partly released as trace gases to the atmosphere. LÄS MER
