  1. 1. Musik som omvårdnadsåtgärd vid demenssjukdom : En kvalitativ litteraturöversikt

    Kandidat-uppsats, Jönköping University/HHJ, Avdelningen för omvårdnad

    Författare :Cajsa Lundén; Jessica Nyström; [2024]
    Nyckelord :dementia; experinces; music; nursing interventions; nursing staff; demenssjukdom; erfarenheter; musik; omvårdnadspersonal; omvårdnadsåtgärder;

    Sammanfattning : Bakgrund: Demenssjukdom är ett samlingsnamn för neurologiska sjukdomar som ger kognitiv svikt och påverkar framförallt minnet. Äldre personer och kvinnor löper störst risk att drabbas av demenssjukdom. Demenssjukdomarna kan i dagsläget inte botas utan endast symtomlindras. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Architecture and CognitionArchitectural settings’ influence on cognitive performance in an isolated and confined environment, over time.

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Ergonomi

    Författare :Michail Magkos; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Cognitive; Ergonomics; Architecture; Working Memory; Space; Isolation;

    Sammanfattning : his thesis examines the relationship between architectural design in a space analog environment and cognitive performance. This is done through longitudinal, repeated measures, quantitative study which was conducted during a Mars analog mission, with cognitive assessments administered under different environmental conditions within the mission habitat. 3. 3. Visualisering av tystade historier - En dekolonial kulturanalys av verket I firandet av vår kamp finns deras undergång

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för kulturvetenskaper

    Författare :Jennifer Turano; [2023-08-09]
    Nyckelord :Memorials; Whiteness; Non-whiteness; Decolonial artivism; Decolonial theory; Post-immigrant generations; Racism; Memory;

    Sammanfattning : The dominant narrative of history, prevalent in Sweden, is of a country which has no structural racism and that had no part in the colonization of the Americas or in the transatlantic slave trade. This is far from the truth, and this study connects Sweden’s role in the slave trade and as a country with colonial ambitions, as well as its history of racial biology, with the racialization of non-white bodies. 4. 4. DIFFERENTIAL OUTCOME TRAINING AND HUMANOID ROBOT FEEDBACK ON A VISUOSPATIAL GAMIFIED TASK: An experimental study investigating learning, affective social engagement cues and cognitive learning strategies

    Kandidat-uppsats, Institutionen för tillämpad informationsteknologi

    Författare :Alva Markelius; Sofia Sjöberg; [2023-02-01]
    Nyckelord :Human-robot interaction; gamified memory task; dementia; differential outcome theory; Furhat; engagement; digitalised treatments; robot assistance;

    Sammanfattning : By combining Differential Outcome Training (DOT), the usage of unique stimulus-response pairings, and feedback from a humanoid simulated robot (SDK) this study aims to improve learning performance of subjects on a visuospatial gamified memory task. This is achieved by using the SDK as an interface for an algorithm that provides audiovisual, reinforcing feedback promoting engangement in a new dyadic setup for a gamified task. LÄS MER

  5. 5. COMPLEXITY & RANDOMNESS Exploring the Limits of Pattern Perception

    Kandidat-uppsats, Institutionen för tillämpad informationsteknologi

    Författare :Beppe Rådvik; Joel Pettersson; [2023-02-01]
    Nyckelord :pattern perception; complexity; randomness; Aksentijevic-Gibson complexity; Visual short-term memory;

    Sammanfattning : Pattern perception is a core part of human cognition, however, our capacity to process patterns is limited. If a pattern is too complex to process, we no longer perceive it as a pattern but rather as noise, thus we hypothesize that there is a limit to human pattern perception that can be measured in terms of the complexity of the pattern.
