    Sammanfattning : Glacial sediment-landform assemblages have long been used to reconstruct the dynamics of ice sheets throughout the Quaternary time period, particularly so for the period of the last glaciation in northern Europe and southern Scandinavia. One such sediment-landform assemblage is hummocky moraine, which has previously been used as an all-encompassing descriptive terminology strongly associated with dead ice meltout and passive deglaciation.     Sammanfattning : A series of small mounds (< 3m) were sampled in the foreland of Midtdalsbreen outlet glacier, southern Norway. These landforms were interesting, especially at site number 1 because they were located very close to a higher Little Ice Age (LIA) moraine (> 5 m), thereby informing the dynamic of the glacier after the LIA at this location.     Sammanfattning : Värmland in south central Sweden lies across the established zone of aquatic-terrestrial transition of the Scandinavian Ice Sheet margin during its rapid final retreat following the Younger Dryas. Recently acquired LiDAR data across Värmland allows more highly detailed observation and analysis of glacial landforms formed during this stage than has previously been possible. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Veiki moraine is a landform area consisting of rim-ridged subcircular hummocks and plateaus with depressions in between, mostly located within a N-S extending zone of a hummocky landscape. It is believed to have formed during the pre-late Weichselian and survived overriding by ice during the subsequent glaciations. LÄS MER
