1. Spectral broadening of 4 mJ femtosecond pulses using a bulk multi-pass cell
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Atomfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : Nonlinear optical effects can be used for spectral broadening, which the basis of the field of post-compression of laser pulses. When the intensity of light becomes high enough the refractive index becomes intensity dependent, and as the intensity often varies both with position and time so does the refractive index. LÄS MER
2. Single Photon LSCM in the NIR Range
Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad fysikSammanfattning : In this thesis a near-infrared laser scanning confocal microscope (NIR-LSCM) is built to operate with optimal performance at 1550nm in combination with simultaneous LED light imaging at 970nm. For detection, a camera equipped with a complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor and a superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SNSPD) are used for the LED part and the LSCM part, respectively. 3. Analysis of Positional Precision when Using Ground Control Points with Supported INS in GNSS-Free Environments
Master-uppsats, KTH/Fastigheter och byggandeSammanfattning : Railway traffic is one of the most used transportation methods in today's society both for freight transports and transportation of people. A necessity for this to function is that the tracks upon which the trains travel are functional. LÄS MER
4. Development of Sensor Concept to Regulate Fuel Supply During Priming of Water to Air Heater in Production
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : The Water To Air heater (WTA) is a component that heats the interior and the engine of the truck by heating coolant through a combustion of diesel fuel. It is vital that the Water To Air heater is primed with fuel prior to using it in order for it to start when desired. LÄS MER
5. Detection of nitrous oxide through IR-DFWM in gas flows with future application in ammonia flames
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Förbränningsfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : This thesis report on an investigation into the applicability of mid-infrared degenerate four-wave mixing (IR-DWFM) as a method to detect N\(_2\)O in ammonia flames. DFWM has previously been used for concentration measurements on other molecules, but has never, to the author's knowledge, been applied to measure N\(_2\)O in ammonia flames before. LÄS MER
