    Sammanfattning : This report describes a project performed at Linnaeus University with the task of solving the Schrodinger equation for electrons in homonuclear diatomic molecules, using the finite element method in Python.     Sammanfattning : A Free Electron Laser (FEL), is a device that generates extremely coherent and brilliant radiation using electrons accelerated to relativistic velocities in a particle accelerator. The process utilises similar equipment to what is used at a synchrotron source like MAX IV, but in addition there is an interaction between the relativistic electron beam and the generated radiation to achieve an exponential growth in radiation intensity.     Sammanfattning : Venus does not have a strong intrinsic magnetic field as the Earth, and its magnetosphere is induced by the interaction of the solar wind with the ionosphere. The near-Venus space environment is characterized by the presence of a bow shock and of an induced magnetic boundary linked to the interplanetary magnetic field orientation. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The effect of proton (H+) irradiation on uranium mononitride (UN) and UN compositefuel with 10 at.% ZrN (UN10at%ZrN) was examined. Protons of 2 MeV with fluences of1E17, 1E18, 1E19 and 1E20 ions/cm2 were accelerated towards the fabricated samples in orderto investigate the evolution of the micro-structure. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis work focuses on the categorisation of a Sodern Genie-16 Neutron Generator, at the Nuclear Applications Laboratory, Lund University. To that end, the goals of this work focuses on the re-development of the pre-existing infrastructure surrounding the Sodern Genie-16 Neutron Generator for the purposes of internally irradiating samples, and the subsequent categorisation of the new configuration for extraction of fast neutrons.
