1. Reconstruction of spin observables in the pbar p → anti-Ω Ω reaction
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/KärnfysikSammanfattning : The aim of this project was to reconstruct the spin observables of hyperons in the bar p → anti-ΩΩ reaction using a novel formalism that was developed at Uppsala University, using the standard event generator EvtGen. EvtGen is the event generator that is used in PandaRoot, but in this work, it is used as the standalone software. LÄS MER
2. Studies of the J/Ψ → anti-Σ0Σ0 Reaction with BESIII : Event Selection Development
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/KärnfysikSammanfattning : The apparent symmetry between matter and antimatter raises the question of why the universe consists of mostly matter. Via an academic exchange to USTC Hefei, a reaction was studied that aims to give insight into this question. LÄS MER
3. Realistic Track and Event Reconstruction of the Ξ Hyperons at PANDA
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/KärnfysikSammanfattning : The PANDA experiment at FAIR is an antiproton experiment and it will offer unique possibilities for the study of hadron physics including hyperon physics. With the PANDA detector, it will be possible to exclusively reconstruct hyperon-antihyperon events. LÄS MER
4. The Strong Potential of ΛΛ Femtoscopy at HADES
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/KärnfysikSammanfattning : The aims of this thesis project have been to determine the feasibility of hyperon reconstruction utilizing a newly developed and implemented vertex fitter based on the Lagrange multiplier method. This was achieved through simulation and subsequent analysis of the reaction specified below, detailing the production of Λ-hyperon and K+ -meson pairs from proton-proton collisions. LÄS MER
5. Helicity amplitudes for the transition from the spin-3/2 Sigma to the Lambda hyperon
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/KärnfysikSammanfattning : The helicity amplitudes of the scattering reaction Sigma* bar Lambda -> pi+ pi- at energies below 1 GeV are calculated. They are part of a project of determining the low energy Sigma* to Lambda transition form factors using dispersion theory. The helicity amplitudes require the Feynman amplitudes of Sigma* bar Lambda -> pi+ pi- as input. LÄS MER
