This topic in the study of pool fire behavior in hypoxic air has been only lightly discussed in previous literature. Providing a hypoxic environment is one way to achieve this goal and can be performed by using hypoxia stimulating compounds that inhibits the degradation of HIF1a which plays an important role in regulating hypoxia.
