  1. 1. Metaller i Vombsjön - Mygglarver som bioindikator för miljöövervakning

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för miljö- och klimatvetenskap (CEC)

    Författare :Siri Bengtsson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Bioindicators; Chironomidae; Freshwater source; Lake Vomb; Metal concentrations; Pollution; Sediment sampling; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This study investigates concentrations of eight metals (Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb, Hg, Cr, Ni, As) in the freshwater resource Lake Vomb, located in the south of Sweden (Scania), and explores the potential use of deformed Chironomidae larvae as bioindicator. Sediment samples from six locations were analysed against threshold values from the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management and background values from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. 2. 2. Specificity in Non-Financial Disclosure - Regulated by Directive 2014/95/EU

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Matilda Frövenholt; Kevin Wirdéus; [2023-07-03]
    Nyckelord :Directive 2014 95 EU; ESG Disclosure; Biodiversity; Specificity; Textual Analysis; Named Entity Recognition; Market Reaction;

    Sammanfattning : We use textual analysis of annual reports to investigate if ESG disclosures, including biodiversity, regulated by the Directive 2014/95/EU provide the market with decision-useful information. Several studies have examined whether the directive has increased the quality of ESG disclosure but with mixed results. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Multiple-Emitter Super-resolution Imaging using the Alternating Descent Conditional Gradient Method

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Beräkningsbiologi och biologisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för astronomi och teoretisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Dolev Illouz; [2023]
    Nyckelord :super-resolution; alternating descent conditional gradient method; ADCG; multiple-emitter localization; nanoscale imaging; single molecule tracking; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the state-of-the-art 2D super-resolution technique alternating descent conditional gradient (ADCG) method's ability to accurately localize fluorophores in diffraction-limited single molecule images (SMI) and analyze the impact of pre-processing and post-processing modules on ADCG's fluorophore localization. A synthetic dataset obtained from the 2013 Grand Challenge localization microscopy and a temporally linked dataset obtained from an unpublished set of Optical DNA mapping experiments performed by Jonathan Jeffet at the NanoBioPhotonix Lab at Tel-Aviv University were initially segmented to extract their noise parameters. 4. 4. PVCFA: Principal Variation Context Feature Attribution : Distributed Chess for Perturbation-based Saliency Maps

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Marco Molinari; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Chess; Perturbation; Saliency maps; Multiagent; Reinforcement Learning; Schack; Perturbation; Saliency maps; Multiagent; Reinforcement Learning;

    Sammanfattning : The research and development field of computer chess improved more in the last 5 years than in the whole history of computers. Unfortunately these unprecedented results comes with techniques that don’t leave much space to intuition and comprehensibility for humans. LÄS MER

  5. 5. How Visual Framing and Specificity Framing Influence Buying Decisionsin Fashion E-commerce

    Magister-uppsats, Jönköping University/JTH, Avdelningen för datateknik och informatik

    Författare :Kimia Emami; Andrea Makarová; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Visual Framing; Framing of Specificity of Terms; E-commerce; Sustainability; Fashion; User Experience Design;

    Sammanfattning :  Companies face several challenges when it comes to promoting green consumption and designing effective communication strategies for sustainable products.The framing effect, which refers to the presentation of messages, can significantly influence customer perceptions and purchasing intentions.
