  1. 1. Parametric Studies of Train-Track-Bridge Interaction : An evaluation of the dynamic amplification due to track irregularities for freight transport

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Bro- och stålbyggnad

    Författare :Rasmus Elm Dahlman; Emil Lundberg; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Dynamics; dynamic amplification factor; railway bridge; train-track-bridge interaction; vehicle model; track irregularities; PSD; Dynamisk förstoringsfaktor; dynamik; järnvägsbroar; tåg-spår-bro interaktion; fordonsmodell; spårojämnheter; PSD;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis a train-track-bridge interaction (TTBI) model is developed in order to study the dynamic amplification from track irregularities on railway bridges traversed by freight trains. These simulations are of great importance since rail freight transport is expected to increase in order to meet the climate goals. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Finite Element Analysis of the Dynamic Effect of Soil-Structure Interaction of Portal Frame Bridges - A Parametric Study

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Bro- och stålbyggnad

    Författare :Turgay Dagdelen; Shaho Ruhani; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Soil-Structure Interaction; Railway Bridge; Portal Frame Bridge; Dynamic Analysis; Parametric Study; Nonlinear Analysis; Jord-struktur interaktion; Järnvägsbro; Plattrambro; Dynamisk analys; Parametrisk studie; Icke-linjär analys;

    Sammanfattning : In Sweden, the railway sector currently faces the challenge of developing its first high-speed railway line, in response to the need to provide faster domestic and international transport alternatives. High-speed train passages on railway bridges can cause resonance in the bridge superstructure, which induce high accelerations that should not exceed the limits stipulated in the current design code. 3. 3. Dynamic Soil-structure Interaction of Portal Frame Bridge Walls for High-speed Railways

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Byggnadsmekanik; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för byggvetenskaper

    Författare :Henrik Malm; [2016]
    Nyckelord :SSI; Soil-structure interaction; Structural dynamics; High-speed railway bridges; Impedance; Receptance; Finite element method; Portal frame bridge; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : In Sweden, high-speed railways is a subject for public debate. The first stage of a high-speed train network, Ostlänken between Stockholm and Linköping, is under investigation, and is planned to be trafficked in 2028. The high-speed railway is intended to hold traffic with speeds up to 320 km/h. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Gesture-based interaction for Centralized Traffic Control

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medieteknik och interaktionsdesign, MID

    Författare :Mladen Milivojevic; [2016]
    Nyckelord :Train Traffic Control; Railway; Interaction Design; Human-Computer Interaction HCI ; Leap Motion; Gesture-based interaction; Usability Testing; Ergonomics; User Interface;

    Sammanfattning : Ever wondered how trains arrive and depart on time? Traffic Control systems are there to help control the traffic flow, with many operators monitoring and taking actions when necessary. Operators of the traffic control systems use a keyboard and a mouse to interact. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Förändrade resemönster i Gävleborgs län : En sammanställning av kostnader och klimatpåverkan vid tjänsteresor samt analys av sociala effekter vid ett skifte mot videkonferens i en organisation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskaplig kommunikation och lärande (ECE)

    Författare :Erik Evers; [2014]
    Nyckelord :Carbon dioxid; Greenhouse gas emissions; Virtual meetings; Video conferencing; Travel policy; Koldioxid; Växthusgaser; Resfria möten; Videokonferenser; Resepolicy;

    Sammanfattning : The world we live in becomes more globalized as a result of new communication media. Communication occurs over greater distances which leads to increased travel. In the report AR5, by IPCC, it is showed that the human impact of climate change is clear and that something has to be done. Therefore its very important to change the human impact. LÄS MER
