  1. 1. A µCT Investigation of the Electrical Breakdown Mechanisms in Mica/Epoxy Machine Insulation

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Tillämpad mekanik

    Författare :Carl Saxén; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Breakdown; composite; computed tomography; epoxy; mica; resin; winding; x-ray; μCT;

    Sammanfattning : Mica/Epoxy machine insulation is a composite material of the mineral mica, fibre-glass mesh and epoxy resin. The material is used in motors and generators rated for high voltage, where the material must withstand multiple stresses such as elevated temperatures, mechanical and electrical stresses. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Analogue Modelling of Ductile Deformation at Competent Lenses in Grängesberg, Bergslagen, Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Berggrundsgeologi

    Författare :Sara Eklöf; [2014]
    Nyckelord :competence contrast; analogue modelling; ductile deformation; competent lenses; Grängesberg;

    Sammanfattning : The Grängesberg Mining District (GMD) is located in the western part of the Bergslagen province in south central Sweden, and is the only known apatite-iron oxide mineralization south of Norrbotten. The Grängesberg deposit is the largest of the mineralizations along GMD and consists of a line of steeply to moderately dipping 20-100 m wide lenses extending to a depth of 1. LÄS MER

  3. 3. The Säm fold structure : characterization of folding and metamorphism in a part of the eclogite–granulite region, Sveconorwegian orogen

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Stephen Michalchuk; [2013]
    Nyckelord :anatexis; high-T granulite; interference folds; polydeformation; Sveconorwegian orogen; SW Sweden; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Structural and petrological studies on complexly folded mafic and felsic layered sequences have been mapped in the parautochthonous basement of the Sveconorwegian Province, Sweden. Three deformation phases (D1, D2, D3)involving at least two fold phases (F2, F3) and two lineation phases (L2, L3) characterize a polyphase fold, which is primarily defined by a migmatized and highly competent garnet amphibolite.
